Easter Sunday Dinner with My Family

Image
I cooked a lot for Easter with my family and we had a lot of different things at the table. Of course I got some Gardein, some Daiya cheesecake, and some snacks. I also made a pasta salad and I will be glad to share with you everything I put into my recipe and it was wonderful for my family. Everyone enjoyed everything that was there.  For snacks, we had crackers, Chao cheese, and grapes. I made a Gardein Turkey and it comes with gravy packages so that you do not have to buy extra. I love making the Gardein Turkey cutlets because they are so crispy and they taste amazing.  Also, at the table, we had some veggies like sweet potatoes and corn. We had dinner rolls that went great with everything we had as well. I had some mango pineapple juice that I also blended.  I made a pasta salad in the morning as well that was a hit. First I roasted some bell peppers in the oven and then got the skin off to have some roasted red pepper to shop up for this...

Cheesy, Creamy Pasta Meals (Plant Based!)

Image
(photos by Danielle) A lot of people think that you have to give certain foods up for this lifestyle. The good news is that you do not. I find this incredibly easy. The one thing I find interesting is people give the excuse "...but I could never give up x,y or z". However it is becoming so much easier. People continue to try out new recipes and the more they try out new recipes the more common it is for them to find new flavors that they like just from playing around with different spices and other ingredients in your house you can find a lot of flavors that you really like it can be important to play around and find new things that you enjoy based on all the recipes that you liked in the past you don't have to give anything up and you can find plenty of substitutes. (photos by Danielle) All of these recipes are so flavorful and I enjoy these so much. I will be making these again and every time you remake a recipe, you get better each time. You can ...

Valentines Day Foods (Cheesecake and Fudge!)

Image
(photos by Danielle) For Valentines Day, whether you are in a relationship or not, one thing we can all agree on is that we love food. These foods can be for anyone and are all amazing snacks or meals that I have had in the past and enjoyed! I am putting a plant based twist on my favorite snacks and they are still amazing. There are many products out there that you can buy and recipes you can make in order to feel festive this season. You can put a red or pink twist on any recipe, or even cut food into heart shapes. It is also a great opportunity to make a meal for your loved ones. This does not have to be a romantic partner...you can cook for the friends and family that you love to show your appreciation for their love.  If you want something home made that has the chocolate and strawberry theme I have one with a bagel and another made with a waffle. If you want to get festive you can shape the food into a heart and add whatever else you like.  (photos by...

Quick & Easy Vegan Oven Baked Pizza Grilled Cheese.

Image
Hi Everyone. I hope November is faring well for all of you, and Happy Thanksgiving! This is another spur of the moment recipe. It came together super quick, and is another very "spoonie-friendly" recipe. It also would be great for those nights where you just don't want to stand at the stove for forever. This would be a great recipe for your kids to get involved in, too!  This would go well with salad, soup, or with some roasted vegetables, or some other side dish that you cook in the oven. You could start your other food, and then add the grilled cheeses to the oven during the last bit of cooking. These sandwiches turn out super well in the oven! The bread has such a light and fluffy inner texture; compared to the "traditional" way of making a grilled cheese. Meanwhile, the outside has the typical crispy and savory deliciousness.  It's a twist on pizza, and instead of the sauce being incorporated in the sandwich, you dip pieces of it into the...
