    Happy Tuesday everybody!! As always, I hope everybody had a great weekend! This week, I decided to go down the similar vegan route, but I also want to talk about another lifestyle: Gluten-free. FThe gluten-free diet consists of omitting gluten, which is a protein found in wheat, grains, barley, and rye. Usually, people who follow this diet, are people with Celiac Disease. Celiac Disease is when your body cannot break down and absorb the proper nutrients in gluten, and as a result, does damage to the small intestines.      A list of products that people cannot have while on the gluten-free diet are as follows: Wheat, Barley, Rye, Bulgur, Couscous, Farina, Semolina, Spelt, and All Purpose Flour. Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope everyone is having a fantastic week! This week, my recipe is Vegan Cinnamon Rolls!  Cinnamon rolls are a huge favorite for morning breakfast in the house aside from pancakes. Please enjoy! -Maranda Ingredients For the Dough: 3 Tbsp water 1 Tbsp golden flax meal 1 cup and 2 Tbsp warm water 2 1/2 tsp active dry yeast 4 1/2 cups AP Flour 1/2 cup sugar 1/3 cup vegan butter, melted 1 tsp salt Filling: 3/4 cup and 2 Tbsp brown sugar 1/4 vegan butter softened 2 Tbsp maple syrup 2 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/4 cup walnuts and raisins (optional) Icing: 2 cups powdered sugar 1/4 cup refined coconut oil 2 Tbsp non-dairy milk 1 tsp vanilla extract Directions: In a small mixing bowl, whisk together 3 Tbsp. water and flax meal.
